PostureTomato does not collect any data. Not anonymised data, not aggregated data, not crash reports. None.
When you wear compatible AirPods, PostureTomato reads head-orientation data from their motion sensors. This is used only to animate the tomato on screen and to measure how far your head has drifted from the baseline you set at the start of a session. It is processed in memory, in real time, and is never written to disk in raw form.
Your timer preferences, completed session records (start time and duration), and your crate and drawer contents are saved locally on your iPhone or Mac using the system preferences store. You can erase all of it by deleting the app and its container.
Nothing. PostureTomato contains no networking code, no analytics library, no advertising identifier, and no third-party SDK of any kind. It makes no network connections. There is no account and no sign-in.
PostureTomato does not access your microphone. It reads the motion sensors in AirPods, not their audio. Sounds in the app are synthesised on your device; no audio is recorded or transmitted.
On iPhone, if you choose the Notify reminder, PostureTomato schedules local notifications on the device. They are created and shown by your iPhone; nothing is sent to a server.
The app is rated 4+ and collects nothing, so it collects nothing from children either.
If a future version ever collects anything, this policy will be updated before that version ships, and the change will be described in the app's release notes.
